zen symbolMy name is Glenda Malewicki, and I am a 500-hour certified yoga instructor with a background in Occupational Therapy. My training in yoga is extensive, from Ashtanga to chair yoga. My studies have taken me from Jacksonville, FL, to India and Thailand.

Making yoga an intrinsic part of my life and witnessing its benefits, I decided to go back to school to become a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This allows me to teach a more holistic approach in my classes.

My aim is to bring yoga to everyone, regardless of age and physical condition.

I use all that I have learned to create yoga classes geared towards lowering stress, pain, focusing on stretching, and increased mobility and balance. With breathing techniques and yoga poses to help decrease depression symptoms and increase energy, aiding the body in an organic way so we can live healthy, active lives.

I teach chair yoga (ideal for office settings or persons with decreased mobility), gentle yoga classes, yin yoga, senior yoga, and yoga to decrease menopausal symptoms and increase hormonal balance.
